wow

Seriously, wow.

Zechs Marquise blew it up at our house last night.

We recorded audio of both ours and their set and it came out REALLY good. Stay posted for download links in the near future. We have to finish mixing it but its already sounding pretty amazing.

The whole event was a success. Unfortunately the only two people that came out that I had never met before, left almost as soon as they got there...they missed out on some crazy shit.

Here are the 3 pictures that were taken all night ha! No one brought a camera =/

13DM, minus Dave(Miles from Pangaea, on effects/soundscape) who was in the corner

ZM, minus Mike(drummer) who was MIA for a while after the show

And upon returning to my computer, I found this

ALMOST TIME!

It's Friday, it has been a VERY long week of real life, a VERY productive week of rehearsals and jamming, and a VERY exciting build up for this weekends show.

We will be recording audio and video of our entire set, and hopefully of Zechs as well, so stay tuned for all of you outside of GA that can't make it, and for all of you that DO live in GA and are going to sit at home this Sunday and watch So You Think You Can Dance on the DVR.....

WE WILL DESTROY

This week is a big show for us at the O Zone Lair. It's a house show and we are performing with Zechs Marquise as you may already know, and it is going to rule the new school.

Check out The O Zone Lair for details and directions.

Athens last night

So we played upstairs Tasty World last night for the first time, and it was excellent.

We played as a bass/drums duo and came out huge. Definitely some good energy in that venue last night.

We will have some pics and videos from the set later.

Next up Zech Marquise stopping in Atlanta :)

Some interesting progress

Last night Dave from Miles from Pangaea came over to jam with us and things got pretty weird. He did bring his guitar and amp and pedals over, but he didn't really play the guitar...instead he opted to play the pedals and use the guitar just to get noise flowing through the pedals.

Seriously it was the most spaced out 13DM has ever been, and I am impressed and excited about the way he worked that into our music...and VERY excited about the jams we had. We did record it all but I do not want to post any of that up just yet. It was good but we will be jamming again a few times next week and I am sure that the jams will come out even better(and my recording and mixes of the live music)...so stay tuned for fresh jams :)
